Abstract
Ceramic-filled composite resins are an advanced solution in temporary prosthetics, combining outstanding aesthetics with superior mechanical properties. These hybrid materials are frequently used for temporary crowns and bridges due to their wear resistance and ability to faithfully mimic natural dental structures. Their compatibility with CAD/CAM technologies allows the work to be carried out quickly and accurately, reducing treatment time and increasing patient satisfaction. Although the higher costs and complexity of the application technique can be challenging, the benefits offered outweigh the limitations. Recent research has focused on improving antimicrobial properties and long-term stability, highlighting the potential of these materials to transform dental practice. In conclusion, ceramic-filled composite resins are a modern standard in dental prosthetics, offering aesthetic, durable and effective solutions for temporary restorations.
