Abstract
As it is well known, long-term success of any endodontic treatment is assured by a good cleaning and shaping of the root canal along with proper and correct root filling. The purpose of this article is to highlight the importance of using a non-surgical treatment in the case of periapical lesions using two different sealants, MTA and Endomethazone. We reported a 22 years old man who benefited from a orthograde endodontic treatment of a maxillary left lateral incisor and second premolar which has had periapical lesions observed by using CBCT cross-sections. Six months follow up by using CBCT showed significant changes: bone formation and periapical healing within the lesion much more significant in the case of using MTA fillapex. Both teeth will be covered by prosthetic restorations.
