Aim & Scope

Official publication of the Romanian Society of Oral Rehabilitation: ROMANIAN JOURNAL OF ORAL Rehabilitation ISSN 2066-7000, ISSN-L 2066-7000 whose editorial board gathers prestigious personalities of national and international dental territory and medicine. This occurs regularly, 4 times a year, under Prof Univ. Dr. Norina Forna.

Aim
Romanian Journal of Oral Rehabilitation (RJOR) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal established in 2009 and published under the auspices of the Romanian Society of Oral Rehabilitation. The journal aims to support and disseminate high-quality scientific, clinical, and translational research in the fields of dental medicine, oral rehabilitation, and related medical disciplines.

RJOR provides a platform for academics, clinicians, and researchers to present original research, systematic reviews, case studies, and perspectives that advance the science and practice of oral and systemic health. Since its inception, the journal has embraced an interdisciplinary vision, reflecting the strong interconnection between dentistry and broader fields of medicine, and encouraging collaboration across specialties.

Our objective is to ensure scientific rigor through a transparent and structured peer-review process and to promote innovations that contribute to both theoretical and practical advancements in oral rehabilitation and general health care.

RJOR welcomes manuscripts related, but not limited to, the following areas:

-Diagnosis, oral radiology, and imaging

-Prosthodontics (fixed/removable, CAD/CAM)
-Implantology and guided bone regeneration

2. Interdisciplinary and Medical Fields Relevant to Oral Rehabilitation

-Oncology, with emphasis on oral/maxillofacial tumors and rehabilitation
-Metabolic diseases and their dental impact (e.g., diabetes, osteoporosis)

-Anesthesiology and pain management in dental practice
-Psychology, behavioral science, and quality of life in oral health

The editorial board of RJOR includes leading national and international experts from diverse fields — dentistry, surgery, general medicine, internal medicine, oncology, virology, and biomedical engineering — which reflects the journal’s commitment to multidisciplinary integration and academic excellence.

By maintaining a broad but coherent thematic spectrum, RJOR contributes to the advancement of the connection between the fields of Medicine – Dentistry – Oral Rehabilitation as a complex, systemic, and patient-centered field.
