Since the first transplant of the mandible followed by the nose, the mouth and the chin, only some other rare interventions of face transplants were realized in France and across the world. To the complexity of the surgical operation, the ethical and deontological aspect that these transplants raise is added. The right to transplant a jaw, teeth, or mouth removed from a corpse on another human being quickly evolves; it takes into account the responsibility of the surgeon, the consent of the donor and his family and that of the sick collector.
